It’s kind of going through this season again…

whether it’s creating a new weblog design¹ or new post.
I think I’ll allow comments for a change, but who knows for how long? Special events pass quickly.
I’m curious what my readers think of the new look for this site. Please don’t feel offended if I don’t make more alterations that what I’ve already done.
If you’re experiencing slower than usual page loading, it’s not the software’s fault. It’s the hosting company’s poor management of accounts they’ve acquired. They offer no money-back guarantee for dissatisfied annual subscribers.
[Edit added 14 hours after publication time — This post went up before I went to sleep last night. This morning it's as if the web hosting fairy came while I was asleep. I'm stunned by how much faster the pages load on my site! How's that for a weird coincidence?!?!]
[Edit added 3 days after publication time — This morning I see that the speed at which the pages on my site load has slowed down a lot. I guess the hosting company's service is also like my mind too often. Some kind of indecision has to be going on somewhere with them, because it's not me that's causing big fluctuations in loading speeds from one day to the next!]
¹The theme’s name is Victorian Xmas. Mel Pedley developed it. I removed the Christmas season look and gave it a garden touch by adding ivy leaves. The delicate wildlife reflects my nature (although I probably write like a nasty critter sometimes).
Can our universe be billions of years old and possibly have been created around 13,000 years ago?

→ Yes ←
(This riddle isn’t posted to create a debate. It is here to provoke new thoughts not often contemplated.)
A long time ago, I began wondering why I could not find mention of what seems obvious in regard to how old God created our universe. The focus has been (and still is) on how long ago God created His creation,¹ but NOT on how old He created it.
When God created man [Adam], He formed him from the dust of the ground. Why then is there such a lack of attention placed on the importance of Adam already being an aged man of years when God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life to make him a living soul?
When God created the heaven and the earth, age was built into the package right at the start. God is the author of life. An author of a book does the same thing with his story. He starts off with his characters being a certain age. In this example, both authors are above their creation. They both have the authority to decide how things shall begin and end.
Just because our universe can appear to date billions of years old does not mean that God could not possibly have created it about 13,000 years ago.
If you can’t understand this, then you must be looking at it from the perspective of mankind [natural/nature] rather than God Almighty [super-natural/creator of nature].
¹What exists had to come about somehow or else it wouldn’t exist. Whatever is responsible for creating what is cannot possibly be bound by the laws it created. Whoever makes the laws isn’t bound by the laws; whoever has the authority to create the rules also has the power change the rules.
